Residential Inspection & Testing

Over time and with use, all electrical installations will slowly deteriorate. They should therefore be tested and inspected periodically to ensure they remain in a satisfactory condition for continued use.

In England, private landlords are required to have an Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) carried out on the installations in their rental properties every five years. For domestic installations, it is recommended they have an EICR every 10 years, or at change of occupancy. 

At Kent Electric Installations, we conduct Electrical Installation Condition Reports – EICR – previously known as a Periodic Inspection Report at a fixed price. The price includes full testing and inspection of the complete electrical installation at the property. You will then receive a completed PDF report by email.
